 Soft Field Takeoff

  1. Perform all checks and set flaps 10º
  2. Hold full nose up elevator
  3. Check for arriving aircraft
  4. Taxi onto runway, line up with centreline and begin takeoff without stopping
  5. Slowly apply full power
  6. Maintain nose up attitude - relax back pressure as speed builds
  7. Lower nose to remain in ground effect
  8. When speed is safe raise nose to climb out
